After about a year of speculation and anticipation, Apple has released the iPhone 13 series. During a virtual event on Tuesday, Apple announced that the iPhone 13 will come in four new models: the iPhone 13, 13 Mini, 13 Pro and 13 Pro Max.  What’s new about the iPhone 13 series? Well, it looks very much like the iPhone 12 but two notable main updates were made to the phone’s display and camera. The new phones will also run on the latest version of Apple’s operating system, iOS 15. 5 New Devices Expected to Be Revealed at Apple’s Live Event Today

After weeks of seemingly daily iPhone 13 rumours, today the device is expected to launch during Apple’s California Streaming virtual live event. Last week, Apple confirmed it was hosting an event on 14 September at 19:00 CAT. With the event’s announcement, Apple’s SVP of Marketing, Greg Joswiak tweeted out a short clip that also points to the 14 September date and shows off a new AR technology that Apple could be working on, possibly in relation to the iPhone 13, which can be experienced here. Apple’s New iPhone 13 Reported to Feature Satellite Connectivity

New reports are indicating that Apple’s upcoming iPhone 13 will feature satellite communication connectivity in an aspect that will allow users to make calls and send texts in areas with little to no cellular coverage. The iPhone 13 has been the subject of much speculation and conversation has been forming around a series of alleged leaks of the forthcoming handset. According to a recent note seen by Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, the iPhone 13 will be coming to market with new hardware that will tap low orbit satellites, allowing the iPhone 13 to remain connected even in areas without internet or mobile coverage.
