Africa Tech Summit Accepting Startup Tech Pitches Until Tuesday

African tech startups looking to pitch their solutions at the Africa Tech Summit London, which takes place on 11 June, have until next week Tuesday (30 April) to apply for Pitch Live London.

The Pitch Live London platform gives African startups an opportunity to pitch to top investors, corporates, innovators, the media and advisors. To be considered for the pitching platform, startups must either have one African co-founder or be based on the continent, as well as be less than five years old.

In addition, the startups must have a minimum viable product with existing traction, must have raised less than $1-million in external funding and have a current “ask”.

This year’s Africa Tech Summit London will take place during London Tech Week

Africa Tech Summit London connects industry leaders, innovators and investors while providing insights from across the continent on mobile financial services, investment, blockchain, digital, payments and lending, scaling and exits, mobility and logistics, as well as the latest trends and innovations.

Representatives from Flutterwave, Branch, Lidya, Binance, Yego Moto, GreenTec Capital, OPIC, BitPesa, Carbon, ABAN, AfricInvest, Africa Tech Ventures, Kobo360, TLCom, Lagos Angel Network, Outlierz Ventures, ThankUCash, London Stock Exchange, African Women In Tech, and Swiftly are expected to present at the summit, with more to be announced.

Africa Tech Summits founder Andrew Fassnidge said in a statement yesterday (24 April) that the summit follows Africa Tech Summit Kigali which was held in February and connected over 500 delegates in Rwanda. Continue reading
